Brain−Body explorers: Guiding children in how to manage “big feelings”
Does your child feel extremely happy, scared, or mad sometimes and are unsure where these strong emotions come from? Group participants will become Brain-Body Explorers as they discover how our bodies and brains can work together to help us manage extreme emotions and still feel safe.

Empathy is a powerful tool that can help counteract feelings of unworthiness and self-loathing. When empathy is present, these feelings struggle to thrive. Participants will learn to cultivate inner empathy as a way to hold and soothe their shame, creating an internal environment where shame has less room to grow.
